We are pioneers in the development of non-invasive for neuromodulation and the stimulation of deep brain structures without the need for drugs or surgical intervention. Our technology promises to change the treatment of: overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction, irritable bowel syndrome and other effects of many chronic, neurodegenerative diseases.
Our current focus is on a peroneal nerve stimulation and its interconnection with key brain centers. Dysfunction of these key brain regions play a significant role in the development and progression of an overactive bladder (OAB). Available clinical studies have shown that nerve stimulation is the most effective methods in a treatment of the OAB.
Neuromodulation and URIS®
Our URIS® technology is the only worldwide technology that has been proven to accurately target deep brain structures that are associated with a variety of disorders.
These disorders include the development urgencies of an overactive bladder, Parkinson’s disease tremors and the development of autoimmune diseases.
Our treatment is based on targeted neuromodulation. We use electrical impulses to stimulate specific nerves inducing the transmission of information to the higher levels of the central nervous system. This activates centers that were previously inhibited and inhibits those that were hyperactive in order to achieve a state of balance (homeostasis) in the brain. This manifests itself through a reduction or the complete elimination of unpleasant symptoms associated with a disease.
In this way, treatment with the URIS® neuromodulation device changes patients’ lives for the better. This treatment also can act on different areas of the body and has the potential to treat other conditions in addition to an overactive bladder.
